Judo Rubro-Negro shines at the Brazil Under-21 Trophy with the right to runner-up in the men's championship

Flamengo's judo team continues to demonstrate its strength in the youth divisions! Last weekend, in Vila Velha, Espírito Santo, Flamengo achieved outstanding results in the Brazilian Under-21 Trophy, with the men's team taking second place in the team competition.

In the individual competition, Mengão's young talents also shone on the mats. Arthur Rodrigues (-73kg) and Vinicius Oliveira (-60kg) won gold medals in their categories, demonstrating high technical skill and determination throughout their matches.

In the women's team, Manuela Maia reached the podium with the silver medal in the -57kg category, while Ruan Vasconcelos, representing the men, secured bronze in the -81kg category.

Expectations now turn to the U-18 World Championship, which will be held in August and could include red-and-black athletes among those called up.
